The Alcon Retirees’ Association Annual Holiday Lupper will be held Friday, December 6th, in the Alcon Crossroads Conference Center (old cafeteria) starting at 11:30am. We will have two distinguished speakers, Ed McGough and Ian Bell. Both are on the Alcon Executive Leadership Team. We will enjoy another excellent buffet lunch starting with appetizers as we arrive. After the presentation, we’ll have our raffle and a trivia game with prizes.

As usual for our Lupper, there is a $10 charge for members and $15 for guests. If you haven’t paid your $10 dues for 2025, you can do so at the same time.

Parking
Parking spaces will be reserved with orange cones as usual across from Tower A. Golf carts will be available to take those who need assistance to the Crossroads Conference Center and back to the parking lot after the program.
Ed McGough is Senior Vice President, Global Manufacturing and Technical Operations for Alcon, a position he has held since January 1, 2008. Mr. McGough joined Alcon in April 1991 as a Manager of Quality Assurance and Regulatory. Following this role, he held various positions at Alcon, including Director of Quality Assurance in Fort Worth North and Director of Operations in Alcon, Puerto Rico. Mr. McGough has also served as Vice President and General Manager of Fort Worth Manufacturing Operations and briefly in the same role over Houston manufacturing. Following this role, he served as Vice President, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Operations.
Ian Bell is Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Alcon, driving excellence in commercial, manufacturing, digital health solutions, and quality and regulatory operations. Prior to assuming this role in 2024, Mr. Bell served as President, Global Business & Innovation since September 2021, overseeing the development of new products across Surgical, Vision Care, and digital health solutions. From January 2019 until September 2021, he was President, International, overseeing the Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, Japan and Latin America and Caribbean markets. He joined Alcon in March 2016 as President of EMEA.
