Our Alcon Retirees Association Lupper will be held on Friday, December 5th, 2025, in our usual location, the Alcon Crossroads Conference Center (old Alcon Cafeteria). We are pleased to welcome back Patrick Collier who spoke to us at our Lupper in 2022. Patrick now is the Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Technical Operations Management. He leads all aspects of manufacturing, supply chain, health, safety & environment, global security, and corporate facilities.
We’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and listen to jazzy holiday music provided by Gary Rush and the Holiday Horns who will be back this year. The wine bar will be back again, too.
Tom McDonald will be available once again to sign copies of his book, Alcon Laboratories, A Vision Fulfilled, 1947-1997. Books will also be available for purchase during the luncheon.
Geneva Padron, Alcon Research Clinic team, will be there again for those who are interested in talking about participating in a research study.
In the spirit of the holidays, this year we’re going to have a Toy Drive that’s sponsored by the Fort Worth Police Department. Bring your new unwrapped toys for children from birth to 14 years old. We’ll have a place to put them.
Before the Lupper is over, we’ll make a toast to the ARA and our 30-year anniversary! We appreciate what our founders did – Frank Buhler, Andy Lubrano, Brad Kling – and what all of you contributed.

For the Lupper, the charge is $10 for members, $15 for guests. If you haven’t paid your $10 dues for 2026, you can pay in cash or check when you sign in or send your check to:

Parking
Parking spaces will be reserved with orange cones. Golf carts will be available to take those who need assistance to the Crossroads Conference Center and back to the parking lot after the program.
